The perfect 1x12" cab to give your amp the most balanced and responsive voice.

The Wampler Bravado 1×12 Cabinet is a 1×12”closed (with removable port to give it an open response if needed) back extension cabinet. It utilizes tongue and groove Baltic Birch construction to deliver the bass, mid response, high end clarity and clear distinct tone you would expect from a Wampler cab.

The cab is built around a Celestion G12M-65 Creamback 16 Ohm speaker. The G12M Greenback is the definitive vintage Celestion ceramic magnet guitar speaker. When the G12M was developed in the mid-sixties, players like Hendrix, Clapton, Beck and Page, who typified the louder and more aggressive blues rock-playing styles that came to characterize that era, quickly adopted it.

The G12M-65 Creamback used in the Wampler Bravado cab produces the familiar woody G12M tone, but handles greater power giving you higher headroom. This makes it ideally suited not only for the Wampler Bravado amp but also any other amp when a vintage and modern tone is desired. The increased power handling brings with it low end depth which  complements the warm and vocal mid range, expressive upper mids and sweet, refined and crystal clear highs.

As with all Wampler cabinets, over-sized 12-gauge speaker wire is soldered between the speaker and terminal, assuring you capture every ounce of valuable tone. The Bravado  1x12ext is handcrafted with pride in the USA and designed to withstand the rigors of the road.

Many amps claim to be pedal platforms, this usually means they have a great clean tone and the input takes pedals.

Brian Wampler has a different opinion. He wanted to make an amp that not only had a great clean tone and take pedals like a dream, he wanted an amp that would bring the pedals to life like no other.

Starting with a high headroom 6L6 power stage, he built an amp that has a lively, full and balanced EQ that the pedals do not have to fight against to sound their very best. Where many amps have an EQ that is scooped, or have a dominant top end (it is the EQ that dictates how they overdrive), the Bravado features a full range and level response, because there is no overriding consideration of how it overdrives, it’s just about the response.

With a full 3 band EQ, 6 position bright switch (each position has been carefully placed so you can counter brighter and darker guitars and even take the harshness out of rooms that have lots of hard reflective surfaces), a MOSFET effects loop (designed with Dave Friedman) – because a tube one colored the tone WAY too much – a fat switch that gives your tone a little more punch and can make it cut through better and clean headroom that goes all the way to the top!
